This message is not due to an error that occurs at Seabix AG, here the hosting of your website has to be corrected in various points. The error message very often only occurs when the websites are re-encrypted with HTTPS.

3. Solution variant Autodiscover resolution

The Autodiscover process can be disrupted by a misconfiguration of the website. Please do the following to fix this.

  • Please make sure that the following address cannot be resolved on your website : https://domain.ch/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
  • Please also make sure that a valid certificate is sent back for the 404 message if your website is appropriately secured.
  • If a website comes back with the certificate of your domain, this disrupts the Autodiscover process and leads to the above message. Please ensure with your website administrator that a "Page not Found (404)" message comes back here.

4. Correctly configure the solution variant cPanel

If your hoster uses cPanel (web hosting customer portal), please proceed as follows to configure cPanel correctly:

  • Log into your cPanel
  • Navigate to Email Routing
  • Select the appropriate domain
  • Set the Remote Mail Exchanger to Yes
  • Save the customization
