Notes on wireless keyboard / mouse combinations

All wireless communication can be impaired by external factors that Seabix cannot influence. A USB dongle is also required for communication with the keyboard and mouse. A dongle is required for keyboard / mouse sets. If the keyboard and mouse do not come from the same set (e.g. MX Master / Keys), a dongle must be used for each device. The keyboard must therefore always be used with the appropriate dongle.

Action Description
Check dongle Check that the correct USB dongle is plugged in and that it has not been updated with another workstation.
Replace the battery Check the charge level of your battery or replace it. Commercially available batteries are to be used. Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly.
Switch mouse / keyboard off / on Turn the keyboard or mouse off and then on again. Either with an existing switch or by removing the batteries.
restart the computer Restart the PC. Apply any updates that may need to be installed.

3. Will Seabix replace my keyboard or mouse for free?

The keyboard and mouse are consumables (including hygiene items). A free exchange is therefore not possible. However, the above measures solve most problems. We always recommend having a "reserve kit" available for replacement.
