Mailbox variant: Standard (all devices)

Mailbox Number - How to call your mailbox

+41 86 07x xxx xx xx

All Seabix mobile network participants get the standard variant as mailbox if selected. From a technical point of view, this is a virtual recording device on the Seabix servers and is managed centrally for all participants.

Mailbox variant: Visual Voice Mail (iOS devices)

Use of Visual Voice Mail abroad

In order for Visual Voicemail to work abroad, data roaming must be activated on your device. Note that fees may apply.

In order to use Visual Voice Mail for Apple devices, the standard Seabix mailbox must first be activated. This can then be activated by SMS. The difference to the standard variant is that the Internet must be activated on the Apple device so that the recordings can be sent directly to the Apple device. The voice messages are therefore not stored centrally, but directly on the Apple end devices. If the customer switches to the roaming network and the roaming DATA is blocked, the standard mailbox is automatically activated by our network so that the customer can still receive the voice messages in necessary situations. The Visual Voice Mail can be seen in the Telephone App> Voicemail as a list.

Info: Mailbox password

The mailbox password is a 6-digit number that is determined by the subscriber himself during the first personalization. In the past, a 4-digit number was used that no longer corresponds to today's security standards. If the customer no longer knows his mailbox password, he can call the mailbox with his device and enter ** 9 in the menu and then press key 4 and then key 2. This triggers an SMS in which a new 6-digit number is generated as the mailbox password.

If the customer does not have the option or has entered the password incorrectly three times, the customer service must "unlock" the mailbox again and trigger a new mailbox password via SMS.

Info: Mailbox shutdown after 6 months of inactivity

If no message has been left on the mailbox in the last 6 months, this service will be switched off because it can be assumed that the box is not needed. If this is the case, the following announcement is made when the mailbox is called:

Welcome to the .... mailbox, please enter the 9-digit number ... etc.

If the customer needs this again, the mailbox must be reactivated via customer service. The customer has to personalize this briefly.
